Choose Windows, Linux or Android. Linux downloads are direct executables; portable data stays in mdo-home/ by default. No installer required.
Windows x64
mdo.exe
Version 0.6.0Size 6.0 MBBuilt 60000017
A ~4 MB single-file green program: run it right after downloading; the first launch creates mdo-home/ beside the exe. The native WebView2 window uses the system-provided runtime — nothing extra to ship.
No WebView2 or native window required. Open http://127.0.0.1:5390 in your browser after starting, or register as a Windows service. Update and restart through the web interface.
Includes the existing CLI programs plus Git, SQLite CLI, Poppler, FFmpeg and ImageMagick. The five new tools start disabled and can be enabled individually. Android external programs update with the full APK.
Requires GTK 3 and WebKitGTK 4.1 or 4.0 (at least 2.30). The musl core is static; the window still uses system GUI libraries. A browser can be used without a desktop runtime.
Run after downloading:chmod +x mdo-server && ./mdo-server
mdo 0.6.0:All eight Windows, Linux and Android channels are updated. External Tools, Agent Tools, Skills, Editor Commands, MCP and Knowledge Libraries connect to downloads, creator submissions and review. Extension lists, detail dialogs and download tasks share a common interface. Fixes cover deep-folder saves, SDK tool deadlines and Android Full startup. Install over the existing official release to preserve accounts and conversations.
Android now uses the permanent release signing key. To migrate from a development build, export and verify sessions and attachments first, then uninstall the old build, install this release, and import your data. Future releases support in-place upgrades.
Zero C-drive footprint. mdo writes no registry entries, nothing to AppData, no autostart:
data defaults to the mdo-home/ beside the exe and can move anywhere with
--home or MDO_HOME; uninstalling means deleting one folder — nothing left behind.
0.6.0 expands the extension ecosystem. See the
release notes
for capabilities and known limits; Device Link requires a member account, and Android requests background resources only while remote control is on.
Trust the official channel only. Download exclusively from mdo.xywhsoft.com and verify the SHA-256 above;
in-app update checks also trust the official service only. mdo is MIT open source with zero telemetry — sessions and files are never uploaded, credentials never leave the local Home.
